Founded in 2017 with Manon Fantini and Michele D'Ariano Simionato, We Are Here Zürich (WAHZH) is an association proposing participatory workshops and events inviting architects, artists and local citizens to meet through making and sharing in events open to everybody.
Primarily aming to encourage exchange and dialogue around the topic of contemporary migration, the workshops explore ways to make people meet through making, instead of letting social bubbles settle in. In Switzerland, WAHZH organises creative events intending to reach circles of audiences as varied as possible, involving participants from all backgrounds to take part in the making process.
Each event is conceived as an experiment involving making and sharing during a certain amount of time. What is made and what is shared is proposed by the guest artists and shaped by the collective imagination that take part in it. Each event involves of the spatial conception realisation of the saring space and feeding of the participants during the time of the performance.
