A few international NGOs and some local groups of volunteers are operating on the island of Lesbos. However, the needs far exceed the capacity of their staff.
Silvia and her project partner Leopold Banchini decided to gather a small group of people and travel to Lesbos in order to help wherever was needed. The aim of this investigation is to connect with more people, invite them to become aware of this humanitarian emergency and help refugees, by actively supporting the volunteering operations on the island, thus raising awareness.
